Fifty years of experience in working with light
We have almost 50 years of experience in working with light.In 1958 we were a small manufacturer of lamps and chandeliers known as Harvey Creazioni. Today, we lead the technical lighting sector in Italy and rank among the first five European companies in this field.
Our total commitment to lighting includes systems for urban furniture, services, museums, commercial spaces and reception facilities. These are the main facts of our history.
1975: the decision to concentrate on lighting equipment allows the company to survive the oil crisis and expand its production. Giannunzio acquires the patent for injection moulding for the fabrication of polycarbonate globes fro external installations.
1978: death of Raimondo Guzzini
1981: 26th June, birth of iGuzzini illuminazione. The photometry lab is inaugurated. Exhibition “Understanding light” at the Milan Museum of Science and Technology.
1982: foundation of the financial arm of the group: Fimag/Finanziaria Mariano Guzzini.
1984: the first subsidiary opens in Munich, iGuzzini illuminazione Deutschland.
