Fuksas's projects in "unsessantesimodisecondo"

The art exhibition “Un sessantesimo di secondo” (One sixtieth of a second) organised by MAXXI – The National Museum of XXI Century Arts of Rome - started on December 1 is dedicated to the tactile architecture of Massimiliano Fuksas.

A journey made up of mock-ups, sketches, and sculptures that reveals in nuce the work of the great Italian architect, submerging visitors in the design world on which his works are based: all in one sixtieth of a second.

From almost 40 years of activity the exhibition displays the new Trade Show Centre in Milan, the Emporio Armani in Hong Kong, the Ferrari Research Centre in Maranello.

Metro floodlights have been chosen to provide the luminous frame of the exhibition. The different light beams of the 100 fixtures create the best rhythm of light and shadow to exalt three-dimensionality of the exhibits.

Parallel floodlights integrate the light produced by the Metro fittings. Woody floodlights illuminate the works outside the exhibition rooms.
