Established in 1958 in Recanati, a town in the Marche region of Italy, iGuzzini is now one of the 5 leading European companies operating in the architectural lighting sector.

iGuzzini France, created in 1999, is an organisation which is based on a team of sales engineers spread all over France, who report to a Design Department which is capable of creating all kinds of lighting designs (commercial spaces, museums, restaurants, offices, railway stations, airports, outdoor spaces, etc.). A total of over thirty people work together with the lighting service in Paris and in the other areas, in close collaboration with architects, lighting designers and design studios.

Towards the end of 2004 iGuzzini France moved its offices and its showroom from its premises in the 14th arrondissement of Paris to the Bastille quarter, which in the last few years has become the preferred meeting ground for culture, design and contemporary art.

The design of the new iGuzzini Paris office, devised by Pier Luigi Copat, was implemented in a building which dates back to the early XX century. The surface area of approximately 1300 m2 covers four floors and the basement holds the showroom (the concept of which was devised by Maurizio Varratta).

The great French botanist Patrick Blanc created one of his famous vertical gardens in the entrance hall of the premises.
