Nemo to distribute iGuzzini’s residential line

iGuzzini has just entered into an agreement with Nemo, the new Cassina light division, in order to grant the company belonging to the Poltrona Frau Group the right to use some of the luminaires from its residential line.

Adolfo Guzzini, iGuzzini’s Managing Director, said that “Within the scope of our core-business focusing strategy (the technical lighting sector) we have decided to assign our collection of residential luminaires to Nemo (Cassina light division) because they are able to ensure the best market positioning to such extraordinary design products”.

Luminaires that have gone down in the history of design created by world-famous designers such as Le Corbusier (La Roche and Bresil), Franco Albini - Antonio Piva (series AM-AS) and Kazuhide Takahama (Saori and Sirio) will be part of Nemo’s collection. Although still successful on the market, these luminaires are no longer included in iGuzzini’s catalogue because the company has long focused on technical lighting.

Giuliano Mosconi, Poltrona Frau Group’s Managing Director, stated that “... the operation further strengthens the synergy between the Poltrona Frau Group and the Guzzini Group - which is already in place in the contract world”.
