iGuzzini at Luminale: coloured fireflies in darkness

Luminale, the biennial event that illuminates Frankfurt, is back.

iGuzzini is the protagonist of 5 installations in this open-air lighting workshop: coloured light emphasises the Neogothic style of the Dreikonigskirche, the late XIX-century Church of the Three Kings; it communicates the contemporary architecture of the BayerHaus, with its terraces and unique roof, or the Welle, the special "wave" of 6 office buildings and 1 historical palace.

Coloured or amber LED's give life to the night landscape of Frankfurt and its surroundings: the cableway cars become coloured fireflies that move along a spectacular luminous belt from the historical Bromserburg castle to the Niederwald; 300 square metres of lighting installations transform the new area of the Rheingoldhalle Convention Centre into a spectacular luminous scenario where water and architecture are blended.
