Award for iGuzzini UK's New Headquarters

Guildford Society Design Awards 2008: The iGuzzini UK Headquarters Building at Peasmarsh, Guildford, has been selected to receive one of the Society’s award in the “New Buildings Category”.

The Guildford Society is affiliated to the Civic Trust and has a 600-plus membership dedicated to conserving the best of Guildford and its environs and promoting high standards of planning and architecture.

The Design Awards in Guildford have been made since the 1970s to highlight new work, environmental improvements and conservation projects felt to enhance the town. Following a photographic exhibition organised by the Surrey RIBA to highlight Surrey practices, the Guildford Society invited its members together with the general public to tour a selection of projects completed in the two years since the last awards – and cast a vote.

The awards were presented by the Guildford Society’s President, Lord Onslow, at a presentation on Thursday 9 October at Holy Trinity Church Hall.
