TANTEIDAN, light investigators in Beijing

iGuzzini sponsored the convention “Tanteidan Beijing 2009” held in Beijing from 13 to 16 October.

The subject of the international convention organised by TANTEIDAN was “Enjoy Lighting with Ecology”. Renowed international designers supported students from all over the world to understand how to create better lighting systems from the energy viewpoint, without sacrificing the quality of our lifestyle.

TANTEIDAN (Transnational Lighting Detectives) is a non-profit study group dedicated to learning lighting culture through practical methods, mainly by engaging in fieldwork.

It was established in 1990 by Kaoru Mende and today counts 500 members between lighting designers, teaching experts, enterprises, architects and students from all over the world.
