The Butler S2 is a DMX/RDM interface/engine which can be used either in stand alone mode to reproduce and repeat lighting shows previously loaded, or as a DMX output device controlled by another E:cue server with an E:net network connection. Programmed using a PC or the E:cue Lighting Control Engine (LCE) and with the E:cue software suite. The compact Butlers S2 controls up to 1024 DMX channels in two DMX uni-directional lines. Up to 99 cuelists (programs) per show in stand alone mode are saved on a micro SD card. Reproduces up to eight cuelists in parallel. The number of DMX channels controlled can be increased to 16,384 channels by clustering more Butler S2s (16 Butler S2s, 32 uni-directional lines).  The Butler is powered by an external power supply 12-24V dc or 48V dc via PoE (Power over Ethernet). A 7-segment LED screen is used to display the state and information of the cuelists (programs). Complete with micro SDHC card for flexible storage. RJ45 connectivity for loading shows, DMX output and E:net. Stand alone configuration using web browser on Ethernet interface.
