Complete transceiver module for Li-Fi communication.
Enables a high-speed, low-latency and high-security connection. The Internet connectivity of the Li-Fi system is based on optical wireless communication, without using Wi-Fi. This is particularly advantageous in applications where Wi-Fi is not allowed (e.g., schools) or is not the best option for security reasons (e.g., banks, government offices).
The module is equipped with a transceiver that communicates on the infrared band between 850 and 940 nm, invisible to the eye.
Data reception is possible on PC devices with Windows and MacOS operating systems via a special Li-Fi USB key art.. PG09 to be ordered separately.
The Li-Fi transceiver module can distribute data traffic over multiple Li-Fi USB keys simultaneously. It is recommended to consider a maximum of 2 Li-Fi USB keys for each transceiver module.

The Li-Fi module works exclusively in conjunction with the Access Point art.. PG08 to be ordered separately. Each access point allows 1 to 6 Li-Fi modules to be connected.
The installation of the module in a suspended iN60 system requires the use of the accessory base art.. PG30 as a cover element for the transmission cable coming out of the ceiling.

Installation
Description
Snap-in installation on special profiles dedicated to the Li-Fi modules of the iN60 Evo OPAL/MPO range for recessed, ceiling and suspended mounting. Installation can take place at the head, tail and in an intermediate position of an iN60 Evo System composition.
Distance between the Li-Fi module and the positioning of the USB key (e.g.. desk): between 1.2 m and 2.8 m. Refer to the instruction sheet for permitted positions. Example diameter of the transmission coverage area: 2.4 m @ h1.8 m distance between the Li-Fi module and the USB key.;
Wiring
The Li-Fi transceiver module is equipped with a 7 m long SFTP cable terminated with 2 RJ12 connectors, which connects on one side to the Li-Fi module and on the other side to the Access Point art. PG08.

Notes
If using more than 1 Access Point in the same area covered by the Li-Fi modules, contact iGuzzini for advice on the optimal distribution of the modules in the area.
(*) The maximum download/upload bandwidth is dynamically divided among all active users at the same time, belonging to the same Access Point.
