Access Point for Li-Fi system, allows the connection of up to 6 transceivers of the iN60 Evo system (art.. PG07, PG34).
Manages a high-speed, low latency and high-security connection. The Internet connectivity of the Li-Fi system is based on optical wireless communication, without using Wi-Fi. This is particularly advantageous in applications where Wi-Fi is not allowed (e.g., schools) or is not the best option for security reasons (e.g., banks, government offices).

Description
Supported on false ceiling or inside dedicated electrical box.
It is recommended to place the Access Point in a central position with respect to the connected transceivers, taking into account that each of them (art.. PG07, PG34, not included) is equipped with a pre-wired cable with RJ12 connectors, 7 metres long.;

Wiring
The Access Point has:
- input for mains voltage with quick terminals that allow parallel pass-through wiring.
-n. 1 RJ45 input for LAN/Ethernet Cat 5/5e/6 cable connection.
-n. 6 RJ12 outputs for direct connection to the iN60 Evo Li-Fi transceivers.
-n. 1+1 TX+RX POF connector for optical fibre (only for connection between multiple Access Points).
Terminal covers and cable glands integrated in the body.
Depending on the network architecture and the number of Access Points present, it may be necessary to adopt network switches.

Notes
Only if more than 1 Access Point is used in the same area covered by the Li-Fi modules, it is necessary to use an accessory Controller and related license. Contact iGuzzini for advice on the best distribution of components in the area and more information.
(*) The maximum download/upload bandwidth is dynamically divided among all active users at the same time, belonging to the same Access Point. Power with n. 6 transceivers connected and transmitting: max 35 W.
