The
Twilight urban lighting system was awarded the ADI Honourable Mention during the awards ceremony organized on 20 June at the Sforza Castle in Milan. Through this award, Twilight joins the Compasso d'Oro ADI Collection described by the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities as having
"an exceptional artistic value of historical interest". The event also marked the opening of the "25th Compasso d'Oro” exhibition, the collection of products and projects selected by the ADI Design Index Observatory, which will be open to the public until 26 June.
Pole and applique street-lighting system offering a compact LED solution as an alternative to existing systems using conventional sources of light, Twilight is available in four versions - Joburg, Bilbao, Canberra and Odense. The two symmetrical and elliptical optics ideal for the illumination of parks, squares, pedestrian and residential areas are combined with Opti Smart optics for street lighting on poles or panels even in urban and suburban areas of intense vehicle traffic.
The exhibition, which displays products and projects carefully selected by the ADI Design Index Observatory, also features the miniaturised
Laser Blade XS and
Palco on LV track – which had already received the ADI Design Index 2017 Innovation Award. The 25
th edition of the Compasso d'Oro also saw Adolfo Guzzini, President of iGuzzini illuminazione, receive the prestigious
Compasso d'Oro Award for lifetime achievements.
