Ecobuild, with UK Green Building Council as its lead partner is one of the UK’s largest trade shows and focuses on sustainable design. The trade show took place between the 8th and 10th of March at the ExCeL Centre in East London. We were present with our sustainable stand, a shipping container that doubles as a Light Experience. The stand was fitted with the latest versions of our most popular product lines, such as Laser, Laser Blade, Trick and Underscore. By visiting the Light Experience, guests were able get a quick overview of these technologies in under 5 minutes. We also presented a case study on the main conference floor chaired by Will Gompertz. The presentation, which focussed on the collaboration between an architect, engineer and manufacturer, was delivered alongside Renzo Piano Building Workshop and Arup. The case study of choice was the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre in Athens. At iGuzzini, we are committed to sustainable processes and design. Our ISO 50001 Energy Management certification is testament to this. We have a 10,000 square meter photovoltaic plant that generates more than 2 million kWh annually. Moreover, we have various processes in place to ensure we outperform EU regulations on water and air purification.
