Light as emotion, connection, integration. Light as an endless journey, mystery, spectrum of magic. Light as improvement of people’s well-being- a philosophy that perfectly fit with iGuzzini’mission of
Social Innovation through Lighting. Different perspectives linked by a common thread-
light, main topic of the 1st International Conference for Lighting Professional
“Architecture & Light” at
Lima University, Peru, the
8th and 9th of June 2017.
During their professional experience, some of these artists have already worked together with iGuzzini:
Dean Skira has participated in several collaborations, including the Eurasia Tunnel’s lighting project in Istanbul, where he placed about 2000 units of a product designed by himself for iGuzzini,
Trick;
Mark Major and
Claudia Paz, have been speakers of two of our LighOn, the cycle of themed conferences we organize in the iGuzzini auditorium in Recanati; and Rafael Gallego has planned the lighting project for several historical monuments for Cordoba and Avila’s city center and the façade of the Bank of Spain in Viòòadolid.
The event is organized in
two sessions – the participation at the first day is by invitation while the second day is open to all who register online. The extensive program will cover different
innovative topics- new forms of expression through light, the social benefits of dynamic and interactive urban light, and the visual, biological, and emotional experiences of architecture.
