iGuzzini at Italian Design Day with Alessandro Pedron Architect

On 7 March in Stuttgart and 9 March in Cologne, Architect Alessandro Pedron (Architetti Pedron/La Tegola) participated in the Italian Design Day 2023, in the edition entitled “The quality that lights up. The energy of design for the people and the environment', talking about four projects realised for iGuzzini.

The event was promoted and organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, along with the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with ADI. It was an opportunity to tell the reality of ‘Made in Italy’ not only in the great variety of its fields, but with particular focus on lighting and the lighting engineering sectors.

In his talk “The indefinable quality of light. Four stories. Four projects. Four atmospheres”, Alessandro Pedron spoke about the use of iGuzzini light as a crucial enhancement element of these projects. In particular, Homo Faber (Venice) for the valorisation of excellence, Palazzo Sturm (Vicenza) for the valorisation of details, The Venice Venice Hotel (Venice) for the valorisation of the past, and Lighthinking Space (Recanati, Macerata) for the valorisation of comfort. iGuzzini's solutions have helped enhance the beauty of architecture and spaces, with a focus on connectivity and sustainability issues, through a design concept that encompasses both formal and functional aspects.
The first meeting took place at the Hospitalhof in Stuttgart, near the recently restored St. Fidelis spiritual centre, illuminated with iGuzzini luminaires. The Cologne event took place at the Italian Cultural Institute.
Together with Architect Pedron, iGuzzini Lighting Solutions Senior Manager, Armando Bormioli was also present.
