iGuzzini CEO Cristiano Venturini spoke of Sustainability and Connectivity as drivers for the development of the Italian company.

In the context of the European Trust project for research and innovation, the CEO of iGuzzini Illuminazione Cristiano Venturini illustrated the guidelines for the growth of the company at the “Italian Dialogue: experience from the industry” event, at the amphitheater of the Italian Pavilion.
In his speech entitled “Social innovation and company growth: the role of digitalization and sustainability”, the CEO explored the role of Connectivity and Sustainability in iGuzzini's strategies, together with the other 2 drivers for the development of the Italian company: Culture and Design. Cristiano Venturini stated: "Smart technologies, an increasingly intelligent light and a company philosophy strongly oriented towards sustainability, will allow us to contribute to and improve the quality of people’s life, in a world where beauty and the environment should return to play a central role in everyday life."
During the speech, the surprising relationship between the considerable energy savings of iGuzzini solutions and their extremely high performance was highlighted. Significant statistics also emerged, such as 96% of the materials used for the products are 100% recyclable, 80% of eco-sustainable packaging, 1200 tons of CO2 a year saved thanks to solar energy, for an equivalent of 1.300. 000 trees saved from 2011 to today, as well as a strictly hybrid company fleet.
The event inaugurated the Week of the Marche Region, with the Vice President of the Region Mirco Carloni who praised Guzzini. Presented by Francesca Spigarelli, coordinator of the Trust Project and moderated by Massimo Ceccarelli, both from the University of Macerata, the event involved international experts in blockchain, circular economy, connectivity and eco-sustainability.
iGuzzini is illuminating most of the Expo pavilions and open spaces, including: UAE Pavilion; Alif - The Mobility Pavillion; Baden-Württemberg Pavillon; Sweden Pavilion; Al Wasl Plaza; C38 District; Dubai South Mall; 2020 Arrival Plaza; Public Realm.
