Robin wins the Red Dot Award

Robin, the spotlight designed by the architect and designer Matteo Thun and inspired by the elegance and agility of the famous small bird has received the “Red Dot” award in the “Red Dot Awards: Product Design 2021” initiative.

The evocative and essential design of the luminaire was awarded the prize in the “Lighting Systems” category by the international jury following an assessment process based on different criteria including innovative character, functionality and formal quality.

Ideal for retail, museum and hospitality&living environments, this low voltage track-mounted projector is characterised by the supreme flexibility of its horizontal and rotational movement. It can also be mounted on the upper part of a Superrail track to combine accent and continuous general lighting in the part below. A customisable final accessory can also transform Robin into a highly distinctive element that adds character to the environment it is installed in.
