In order to investigate how satisfied Italians are with their employers, the German independent statistics research institute
Statista carried out an anonymous online survey interviewing 15,000 employees from more than 1,900 large Italian companies, operating in different fields. The employers were asked a series of questions with the intention to collate and publicise a top employers ranking in the Italian weekly magazine
“Panorama”. The survey focused primarily on how likely employees were to recommend their job to acquaintances or family members, using a scale from 0 to 10, and, on whether they would recommend an alternative company operating in the same sector. The answers received to the twelve-question survey were evaluated, and a list of 400 companies operating in 21 different sectors was subsequently published in the Panorama Magazine.
After receiving the
