iGuzzini supported the launch of a free desk dedicated to Italian engineers and architects based in Dubai. An important initiative organized by the Fondazione Inarcassa, as part of an educational workshop focusing on the internationalization of the architecture profession. The fact that Dubai, capital of avant-garde architecture, will be hosting the international exhibition Expo 2020, was the backdrop for the immersive sessions held between 14th and 16th November. The initiative aims to offer in-depth insights into the Middle Eastern architecture and engineering market. In line with this, a series of talks and presentations focusing on the UAE Market, its main features, key facts and challenges, were organised, in an attempt to widen professionals’ level of knowledge and their awareness of local opportunities.
iGuzzini also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Fondazione Inarcassa. The objective was to enable diverse means of cooperation and to offer internship opportunities at its Middle East subsidiary in Dubai. This reinforces iGuzzini’s commitment to promoting Italian excellence around the world and to boosting the ties between Italy and the UAE. Paolo Guzzini, Vice-President of iGuzzini and Managing Director of iGuzzini Middle East, signed the document.
Liborio Stellino, Italy’s Ambassador to the UAE, Valentina Setta, Consul General in Dubai, Egidio Comodo, President of Fondazione Inarcassa, Giuseppe Santoro, Fondazione Inarcassa, and Robert Platt, Vice President of Urban Planning & Public Realm EXPO 2020 Dubai – introduced the workshop.
