last update: 18/03/2026Description
Casambi-DALI Bluetooth Broadcast interface for mains voltage tracks. Works with the Casambi app available for Apple and Android devices.
The interface sends commands on the DALI line of the track to iGuzzini luminaires and allows the creation of hybrid networks consisting of Casambi lighting fixtures and DALI lighting fixtures.
All DALI luminaires installed on the track will execute the same commands (broadcast mode, to select on the profile during commissioning).
A Casambi-DALI Broadcast interface counts as 1 Casambi node.
The maximum number of nodes for each Casambi network is 250.
- Control up to n. 25 DALI / DALI-2 loads from 2 mA
- DALI bus current: 50 mA
- Bluetooth Low Energy frequency: 2402...2480 MHz
- Maximum transmission power: +8 dBm
- Mesh network operation max 127 or 250 Casambi devices (Classic or Evolution network)
- Update via OTA (over the air)
- Integrated beacon and can be activated via app, protocol: iBeacon
- Input voltage: 220 - 240 Vac - Frequency: 50/60 Hz

Installation
Description
Installation only on iGuzzini tracks (production from 2016 onwards);
Mounting
Three circuit track
Wiring
The interface does not require wiring. The track on which it is inserted must only have mains voltage. The DALI line must not be used by other control devices or connected externally. If 2 or more interfaces are used on a long section of track, the DALI lines controlled by each interface must be separate.
Notes
Maximum theoretical operating range between adjacent interfaces: indoors 30 m, outdoors 50 m in a straight line.
The maximum distance is influenced by several factors, including the presence of physical obstacles such as concrete walls or metal panels.
