Specific remote control for self-powered devices with an internal battery and a self-testing function. This allows the emergency switch-on function on the devices to be interrupted; this function is particularly useful during periods of inactivity. When the network is reset the devices will be operative again in the event of a black-out. The remote sends the following commands to the devices (only self-testing versions): a) test synchronisation - b) immediate function tests - c) self-diagnosis functions reset - d) inhibition (emergency function disabling) for brief periods.

Can be inserted on the standard DIN omega bar.;
