The optical assembly consists of a wired metal support and a transparent or opal white shock-proof methacrylate screen. A lacquered white aluminium antiglare baffle may be fitted inside the screen so as to direct the light beam. The optical assembly may be fitted on a die cast aluminium pole or a cylindrical steel pole, both lacquered with a dark grey colour.
