Direct-light fitting designed to use metal-halide and sodium-vapour lamps with street optic. Die-cast aluminium optical assembly and frame subject to chromate treatment with double primer, passivation at 120° C, and acrylic liquid painting RAL 9007. The soda-lime hardened closing glass has customised silk-screen printing. The frame is fixed to the optical assembly by 2 stainless-steel captive screws and a hinging system makes it easy to open it. The reflector is made of 99.5%-pure aluminium polished by double cycle with 5/6- micron thickness and subject to anodisation. The fitting is equipped with a graduated scale for vertical orientation. The reflector assembly is fixed by two captive screws. The porcelain lamp-holder is fixed by means of anodised-aluminium supports and has cables with fast-coupling terminal boards. The product includes an anti-loosening device for the light source and a decompression valve that ensures easy opening by eliminating negative pressure.No luminous flux is emitted upwards by the top half of the system in a horizontal position. All screws are made of stainless steel AISI 304.

Wiring
The extractable component-holding plate is made of anodised aluminium. The control gear includes ballast, explosion-proof capacitor, fast-coupling terminal boards and fuse-holding disconnecting switch (upon request). The fitting has double insulation - class II - and is designed for earth connection (class I).
