The Thracian Tomb of Sveshtari

Culture

Low levels of light were applied sensitively to illuminate the beauty of the architecture. Each of the caryatids has its own softly focused framing projector and a gentle fill light provided by freestanding luminaires, to ensure that there were no fixings to the valuable structure. The new lighting is designed to be glare free and highlights, with skimming light, texture and detail such as the carved signature symbols of the masons who built the tomb in the 3rd century BC.
