Every day, from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022,
after sunset, the pavilions and all the spaces of the Expo wore their best evening dresses. Classy, sumptuous, elegant, minimal, artistic, creative, each one to enhance their own identity and launch messages of Opportunity, Sustainability, Mobility to the public all over the world.
The common denominator of this evening transformation was light, a factor on which iGuzzini played a decisive role. “Everywhere you went at the Expo, you were driven by light”, says Richard Holmes, ME Regional Director of iGuzzini. “Internally, externally, it was all light that made Expo as brilliant as it was. It was probably the greatest application lighting showroom that we have ever seen in our time”.
The Italian company, with the Dubai branch that manages the Middle East area, was in fact chosen to illuminate several
pavilions (including UAE Pavillion, Alif-The Mobility Pavillion, Baden Wurttemberg Pavillion, Sweden Pavillion),
common areas ( such as the Wasl Plaza Water Feature, Al Forsan Park, Jubilee Park, Plaza Park - Arrival Plaza, Shade Structures along the pathways between the Pavilions), in addition to the 86 permanent buildings of the
Thematic District, dedicated to the guiding themes of Expo Dubai: opportunities, mobility and sustainability (
